Content warnings should not be used for subjects which are already covered by Larian's own content warning for Baldur's Gate 3:

Broadly speaking, the wiki also does not use content warnings for fantasy violence or elements considered to be part of the game's basic premise.
How to use content warnings[edit | edit source]
Content warnings can be added using the Cw template. These should be used when an article, section, or text describes, mentions or alludes to certain potentially sensitive subjects.
Use of the Cw template should be as specific as possible, and the preference is to add it only to the sections of an article where it is needed. Content warnings should not be used in such a way that they compromise the user-friendlliness or readability of an article. A such, in some cases a more all-emcompassing use of the Cw template may be necessary.
Any violent or sexual content that is unusually detailed, graphic, or sensitive in some other form (such as abuse or torture) is considered sensitive content, and a content warning may be appropriate.
Following the Editing Policy and attempting to reach a consensus with other editors can help in deciding when and where to put content warnings.
Types of content warnings[edit | edit source]
These are guidelines for the warnings used by the Content warning template. They should be applied where reasonable and contextually relevant.

- Graphic violence: Intense or realistic violence that goes beyond the game's usual fantasy violence.
- Abuse: Physical or emotional abuse.

- Drugs: Explicit portrayals of drug or alcohol use. Vague or undetailed references, such as the Slightly Drunk condition, are not generally considered sensitive content on the wiki.
