Missile Snaring

Not to be confused with Deflect Missiles

Missile Snaring is a passive feature/reaction granted by Gloves of Missile Snaring which allows the wearer to spend a  Reaction to intercept a ranged attack and reduce its damage.

It is very similar to the monk's  Deflect Missiles feature except it does not allow throwing the missile back at the attacker.

Description

You can intercept missiles from ranged weapon attacks with a  Reaction, reducing their damage by 1d10 + your Dexterity modifier.

You can only reduce damage from the attack - any additional effects can't be negated.

Notes

• You can only reduce damage from the attack - any additional effects can't be negated.
• However, if the attack does multiple types of damage (for example an Arrow of Fire), the damage reduction is applied separately to each type.
