Act Three[edit | edit source]

Dwindling and his father are refugees speaking to the hostel's mistress, Pammella Nortale, in the hall of the establishment.

The family lost their mother, and the father does not know how to take care of the kid properly. The hostel mistress is ready to shelter both, but first wants them to get rid of the lice the boy has caught on the way to the city.
