Idle banter[edit | edit source]

  • Hostel Mother Pammella Nortale
Rules are the same for everyone: clothes go in the fire, comb goes through the hair. We'll have no lice in here.
    • Dholber Greene
Burn my son's clothes? But I've nothing else for him to wear.
      • Hostel Mother Pammella Nortale
We've plenty of donations. I'm sure you'll find something that fits.
  • Hostel Mother Pammella Nortale
No need to look so glum. You'll be clean and comfortable in no time.
    • Dholber Greene
I'm so embarrassed. I - I'm sorry. We must have caught them riding on the ox cart.
      • Hostel Mother Pammella Nortale
No sense apologising for what can't be helped. You made it here safely - that's what matters.
  • Dwindling
    Dad - my head's itchy.
    • Hostel Mother Pammella Nortale
Hot soapy water and a fine-tooth comb - that's all you need. Those lice will be gone in no time.
      • Dholber Greene
His mother was better with this kind of thing... I'll do my best.
