Necrotic Rats will spawn alongside Soporific Rats while fighting the rat swarm in the Gauntlet of Shar, after killing a certain amount of rats. They spawn more frequently the more rats are killed. They have a slightly higher Strength and Dexterity than regular rats, and their bite deals additional Necrotic damage.
