I'm confused about his physical resistances. Possibly immune to Bludgeoning damage. Slashing damage deals normal (no modifier applied). Piercing unknown.
Is Mystic Carrion SPB Immunity working in Honour Mode? edit
My Astarion Rogue build is able to shoot normal ranged weapon attacks and hits Mystic Carrion for Piercing damage, when tooltip shows that this creature (boss) is Slashing, Piercing, Bludgeoning, Poison and Necrotic dmg IMMUNE. What is working(not working), the mechanics behind? Does anyone have any considered views to add, cheers and thanks. 118.200.180.122 17:31, 17 July 2024 (CEST)
- It could be that his Honour mode ability

You get the letter by killing Carrion, but not destroying his heart, followed by keeping his heart on your person and long resting. This works even if Thrumbo vomited the heart up and you got the heart that way instead

- If it does, it is not listed on Mystic Carrion's page. Also, a search on this wiki for the text as described above only turns up this page as a search result.

- So basically the letter is something that appears depending on a branching quest choice. That choice being to kill Mystic Carrion without destroying his heart, yet keeping his heart with you. It's probably why it's been missed because it it goes against players' completionist nature. If they want to finish the destroy his immortality quest they're going to destroy his heart too.
