Intelligence affects your [[Arcana]], [[History]], [[Investigation]], [[Nature]], and [[Religion]] skills. It also improves spellcasting for wizards, [[fighter]]s (especially valuable for [[Eldritch Knight|Eldritch Knights]]), and [[rogues]] (especially valuable for [[Arcane Trickster|Arcane Tricksters]]), by increasing the chance of hitting an enemy with spell attack rolls, due to the increased [[Difficulty Class]] of spells with [[saving throw]]s.
