Editing Point Buy

'''Point Buy''' is the method used by Baldur's Gate 3 to determine a character's [[Character Creation#Ability_scores|Ability Scores]] during [[Character Creation]]. 

The rules of Point Buy when assigning Ability Scores are:
* There are 27 total points to spend.
* Ability Scores can not be lower than 8.
* Ability Scores can not be higher than 15.
* Point cost increases when you reach a certain Ability Score. Namely from 13 to 14 and 14 to 15 you have to pay two points.
* You must spend all of your points.
Besides the general points, there is also a +2 and +1 bonus. Thus you could have one starting Ability Score at 17.
