Quest
If the party has not yet traveled to the Iron Throne, they can find Zanner Toobin in the back room of the Steel Watch Foundry. He will inform them that the Gondians dare not fight back against the Banites for fear of killing the hostages in the Iron Throne. The party can either choose to heed his pleas and free the hostages first, or ignore them and turn all the Gondians hostile.
By speaking with Zanner Toobin in the Steel Watch Foundry, the quest Save the Gondians will start.

If the party successfully rescues the hostages and returns, they will find Zanner leading an uprising on the main floor of the Foundry against Tamia Holzt and her allies. After defeating them, Zanner will mention that he knows a secret passcode to make the foundry self-destruct and the party can either agree to take him with them as a temporary companion or tell him to flee since they have the Runepowder Bomb. If Zanner becomes a temporary companion, he will follow the party and aid them in combat until they reach the doors to the Control Centre, where he senses the power of the Steel Watcher Titan and warns the party that he can't hope to survive against it. He remains outside the entrance of the control centre until the titan dies.
