There are two distinct Auras of Murder that are easy to confuse with each other:

•  Aura of Murder (NPC)
  • Granted by:
    • ⁠Bhaal to his NPC followers
    •  Aura of Murder (action) (available to Churg Elvek and Cirian)
  • Inflicts  Aura of Murder (NPC, debuff) on enemies within ⁠2 m (7 ft) that are not resistant or immune to piercing damage
•  Aura of Murder (Bhaalist Armour)
  • Granted by:
    •  Aura of Murder (in turn granted by the Bhaalist Armour)
  • Inflicts  Aura of Murder (debuff) on enemies within ⁠3 m (10 ft) that are not immune to piercing damage
    • Also inflicted by hits from weapons with  Exploit Weakness
