Awakened is a passive feature that makes all Illithid Powers cost a Bonus Action instead of an Action.

You can use all of your Illithid Powers as a Bonus Action. Your resistance to the zaith'isk in the githyanki infirmary awakened this power.

How to learn

Other ways to learn:

• If a party member enters the Zaith'isk in Crèche Y'llek and succeeds all three saving throws.
• If Lae'zel enters the Zaith'isk and succeeds the Arcana check in the third stage.

Notes

• This has no effect on Illithid powers that normally use a  Reaction or a  Bonus Action.
• Use of this passive is not optional, and makes it impossible to use illithid powers as an  Action. If the party member with this passive makes frequent use of bonus actions, obtaining this passive could prove disadvantageous at times.
