A Dragon Egg Mushroom is an Alchemical Ingredient. Combine 3 of these to calcinate them into  Ashes of Dragon Egg Mushroom, which are used to make  Elixir of Fire Resistance.

It's unclear whether the beautiful patterns on these mushrooms are the result of magic or nature, but the fungus is often sought out by smiths, who mix it into a paste to prevent burns.
