Elemental Adept: Acid

Elemental Adept: Acid is a passive feature granted by the Elemental Adept feat. It allows spells and attacks to ignore resistance to Acid damage. It also prevents the damage dice of Acid spells and attacks from rolling a 1.

Description

Spells you cast and attacks you make ignore Resistance to ⁠Acid damage. In addition, when you deal Acid damage with a spell, you cannot roll a 1.^{[See: Bugs]}

Notes

• "Cannot roll a 1" means that whenever a 1 is rolled on a damage die, it is treated as a 2 instead.

Bugs

• The passive prevents not only spells, but also any attacks dealing primarily Acid damage from rolling a 1 on damage dice, such as a dragonborn's  Acid Breath.
