Elemental Adept: Cold

Elemental Adept: Cold is a passive feature granted by the Elemental Adept feat. It allows spells and attacks to ignore resistance to Cold damage. It also prevents the damage dice of Cold spells and attacks from rolling a 1.

Description

Spells you cast and attacks you make ignore Resistance to ⁠Cold damage. In addition, when you deal Cold damage with a spell, you cannot roll a 1.^{[See: Bugs]}

Notes

• "Cannot roll a 1" means that whenever a 1 is rolled on a damage die, it is treated as a 2 instead.

Bugs

• The passive prevents not only spells, but also any attacks dealing primarily Cold damage from rolling a 1 on damage dice, such as a dragonborn's  Frost Breath.
