Mage Slayer: Attack Caster

Mage Slayer: Attack Caster is a passive feature/reaction provided by the Mage Slayer Feat. When a creature casts a spell near you, you can attack the caster as a Reaction.

Description

You can use a  Reaction to make an attack against an enemy after it casts a spell within 1.5 m (5 ft) of you.

Notes

• This reaction attack occurs after the spell has been cast, so the caster cannot be eliminated before completing the cast, though  Concentration spells are immediately ended by  Mage Slayer: Break Concentration on hit.
• The enemy caster must be within 2 m (7 ft), slightly longer than the normal weapon range of 1.5 m (5 ft) but shorter than the 2.5 m (8 ft) range of  Extra Reach weapons, which can be frustrating for characters using polearms.

Bugs

• This reaction is unusable while affected by a condition from SG_Disguise, such as  Disguise Self
