Epilogue: Difference between revisions

Minsc arrives looking worse for wear, decked in rags. Without knowing the gravity of his situation, he reveals that he has been kidnapped by the Zhentarim and was nearly about to be executed when Withers spirited him away for the party.<ref>Unusually, this fate for Minsc will still occur if you sided with [[Nine-Fingers Keene]] when completing [[Aid the Underduke]] and pushed the Zhents out of the city.</ref>

 

Alternatively Minsc is well dressed having been teleported to the party while holding a halfling Guild member, [[Happy Hoarson]], upside down over the edge of High Hall. He explains that while he has made peace with the guild Nine-Fingers has banned the guild stealing from the battlesite and corpses therein, and Minsc enforces this ban. Minsc berates Happy, who had broken this rule, about how Happy does not deserve to be in the presence of so many heroes and so will need to prove himself. This is said with the threat that while Minsc would spare Happy's life the decision ultimately comes down to Boo. He gives a summary of the heroic attrubutes of each of the companions as an example of what Happy should strive for. He also says that he now longer sleeps in "that" sewer, but has found a much nicer sewer to sleep in. This ending is likely gotten by getting Minsc and Nine-Fingers to agree to work together..
