+*As of Patch 6, there is an exploit which allows the player to save him. It involves using {{SAI|Polymorph|h=20px}} on Yonas during the encounter, which removes the {{Cond|Shadow-Cursed Undead}} condition from him. After that, the player must [[toggle Non-Lethal Attacks]] and hit the polymorphed Yonas, which may result in him reverting back to his human form and free from the curse (there is also a chance he'll instead die from the hit). If successful, Yonas will be found at the entrance of [[Last Light Inn]]; since he's supposed to die, he cannot be interacted with, and has no additional scripts or dialogue.
