After the first [[Goblin]] assault to the Grove, he can be found consoling his friend [[Arka]], whose brother was killed during the attack. He will chase after her after her decision to murder a Goblin prisoner, [[Sazza]], and try to convince her to stop.
Memnos can initially be met in the aftermath of the conflict at the gates of [[Emerald Grove]] caused by [[Aradin]] and his party being chased by [[Goblin|Goblins]]. He can be seen consoling his friend [[Arka]] on the [[Emerald Grove]] Ramparts, who is grieving over her [[Kanon|brothers]] body, who lost his life in the attack. After [[Arka]] picks up a crossbow to execute the [[Goblin]] prisoner [[Sazza]], he follows her with the intent to calm her down.
