Abdirak: Difference between revisions

If the player reads ''[[On Receiving Her Grace]]'', found on the nearby table, they will unlock the dialogue option "I saw your book. Let me try some of those techniques". This will allow them to choose which tool {{-}} mace, knife, or axe {{-}} Abdirak uses, and thus changes the damage type inflicted to {{DamageType|Bludgeoning}}, {{DamageType|Piercing}}, or {{DamageType|Slashing}} respectively. This can be used to the player's advantage by planning ahead to reduce damage taken. For example, selecting the axe option and casting [[Blade Ward]] or equipping the [[Amulet of the Unworthy]]{{note|Found on one of the [[Minotaur]]s in the [[Underdark]], easiest access is via the [[Zhentarim Basement]].}} to gain Slashing resistance. If all three ritual weapons are taken away, he will cast Bone Chill instead.

Abdirak will leave the sanctum if the goblin leaders are killed. He can be found during the fight standing in front of a burrow contemplating that he is too big to fit to escape. He will be carrying the [[Ritual Dagger]] and [[Ritual Axe]] on him from the Bloodied Shrine.
