Can't eat our cake and have it too anymore[edit source]

I've tried many different methods and damage types, but it seems to no longer be possible to get the hair, save Mayrina AND get Ethel's drops. You can kill her through the method described, but there won't be a body. The only way I can see it happening is getting the items off her before the fight, through buying or pickpocketing.

Eating her hair for strength while carrying the Club of Hill Giant Strength will not increase your base stats.
