Owlbear Cub[edit section]

If you have resolved the encounter with the mother Owlbear peacefully, then after a long rest she will be slayed by goblins. Thus, the Cub eventually will be found at Goblin Camp and can be saved and adopted later. There's no necessarity for the party to defeat its mother, you just have to enter the cave. Missing camp event: Shadowheart playing with artifact[edit section]

There’s a camp event you can trigger if you go through a bunch of long rests before entering the grove; you witness Shadowheart playing with the artifact and can enter her mind to read her thoughts on it and what it’s for. I’m not sure what the specific triggers for it are but it’s lower in priority than both Astarion’s vampire scenes. It doesn’t trigger (or at least I’ve not managed to recreate it?) after entering the grove but if you do a bunch of long rests before, it’s number 5 following first night’s scene, the Gale mirror scene, Astarion sneaking off, and Astarion’s vampire reveal. Alfira trigger[edit section]

"Requirements: Meeting Alfira at least once" is inaccurate; you can trigger the scene simply by crossing the bridge/river. Screenshots here of Alfira introducing herself and asking for help with the situation in the grove. In addition to my own testing, here and here are also some discussions on Reddit about it, though it seems that may not be the only trigger. 108.39.93.181 00:19, 20 April 2025 (CEST)Reply

"Orin kidnaps a companion" Requirements are incorrect[edit section]

I just got this event without having ever entered the Lower City. I suspect it's either entering the city or watching Gortash's inauguration? HereToHelp (talk) 02:30, 20 August 2026 (CEST)Reply

When you say "entering the city" do you mean progressing past Wyrm's Rock Fortress? If so, that is the lower city. If not, what do you mean? Capranaut (talk) 02:37, 20 August 2026 (CEST)Reply
Past Wyrm's Rock Fortress is a transition plane that you click on (with a "you are moving to another area" message), which takes you into the Lower City. I have not interacted with it, or gone to the other map at all yet in this playthrough. Of note: the page for OrinOrin also says this happens after the Lower City, but the page for Rescue Orin's VictimRescue Orin's Victim says it's Wyrm's Rock Fortress at the top, then the Lower City later on. If I'm reading Act3_GEN_OrinsAbduction https://bg3.norbyte.dev/search?q=Act3_GEN_OrinsAbduction+type:script correctly (and there's a solid chance I'm not), the key trigger in this case is PROC_GEN_OrinsAbduction_InCampAbductions_Init(); which fires when Gortash reveals the imposter, he is killed (as a fallback in case you attack in the coronation before he has a chance to tell you), or CTY_Main_A is loaded (the script comment says "undercity" but CTY_Main_A is the main lower city region). Entering the morphic pool[edit section]

Listing this as a "canceled by" condition seems like unnecessary clutter to me, since you can't return to camp or long rest after that point Capranaut (talk) 02:39, 20 August 2026 (CEST)Reply

Let me try remove it all and instead add it below the Act 3 heading to see if it works Loekman3 (talk) 04:50, 20 August 2026 (CEST)Reply
