== Notes ==
* As of Hotfix #5, this item seems to have no purpose other than to be sold to [[Traders]] for a bit of extra gold.
* [[Lae'zel]] may comment on the potential of the ring when both pieces are found: 'Hm - the other part of that ring. Once repaired, it could be useful.' Any use it may have beyond being sold, however, remains unknown.
* A common version of this ring can be looted from [[Dairow Vin]], or at the center of the [[Guildhall]] {{coords|-23|741}}.
* May be a reference to the game Elden Ring, where the player character is referred to as a Tarnished. Alternatively, may be a reference to the Pendant in Dark Souls, a starting gift that actually has no in-game use.
