Bardic Inspiration Icon.png

Combat Inspiration is a Class Feature available to College of Valour Bards. This ability is an enhanced version of Bardic Inspiration that adds the ability to increase the target's armour class and damage.

Description

Inspire an ally to add a +1d6 bonus to their next Attack Roll, Ability Check, Saving Throw, weapon damage, or Armour Class Armour Class.

Properties

Bonus action + Bardic Inspiration Charge

  •  Range: 18 m / 60 ft
  • Duration: Until Long rest
  • Once Combat Inspiration has been granted, the target receives one of the following effects, whichever they use first:
    • Bardic Roll Icon.png Valiant Roll (Toggleable Passive Feature): D6 Physical.png+1d6 bonus to the next Ability Check
    • Bardic Defence Icon.png Valiant Defence (Reaction): D6 Physical.png+1d6 bonus to the next Saving Throw or bonus to Armour Class Armour Class for the next attack
    • Bardic Attack Icon.png Valiant Attack (Reaction): D6 Physical.png+1d6 bonus to the next Attack Roll
    • Bardic Damage Icon.png Valiant Damage (Reaction): D6 Physical.png+1d6 bonus damage to the next Weapon Attack

At Higher Levels

When the College of Valour Bard reaches Level 5, the bonus increases to D8 Physical.png+1d8

When the College of Valour Bard reaches Level 10, the bonus increases to D10 Physical.png+1d10
