Metamagic is a Sorcerer Class Feature that allows the user to add additional effects to magic spells.

Metamagic types

Metamagic: Distant Spell Metamagic: Distant Spell
Extends the range of a spell
Metamagic: Twinned Spell Metamagic: Twinned Spell
Applies the spell twice
Metamagic: Quickened Spell Metamagic: Quickened Spell
Makes the spell casting time a Bonus Action.
Metamagic: Extended Spell Metamagic: Extended Spell
Makes the spell last longer
Metamagic: Careful Spell Metamagic: Careful Spell
Allies automatically save against this spell
Metamagic: Subtle Spell Metamagic: Subtle Spell
Spells no longer have verbal components, allowing them to be cast while Silenced Silenced.
Metamagic: Heightened Spell Metamagic: Heightened Spell
Make the spell harder to save against.
