Sorcerer is a character Class in Baldur's Gate 3. Sorcerers use their innate magical powers to fight enemies and aid allies in combat. Sorcerers use Charisma as their primary ability score.
The Sorcerer subclasses available in the game are: Wild Magic,
Draconic Bloodline,
Storm Sorcery

Through experience, you acquire new power. You gain the following traits.

Sorcery Points[edit | edit source]
Sorcery Points: 2 (Sorcery Points are the innate power of sorcerers. They can use these points to alter Spells or gain Spell Slots. You gain 2 Sorcery Points, which recharge on a Long Rest)
Create Spell Slot: Spend Sorcery Points to unlock a Spell Slot.
Create Sorcery Points: Spend Spell Slots to gain Sorcery Points. The level of spell slot spent creates the equivalent number in Sorcery Points
Metamagic[edit | edit source]
(Choose 2):
Metamagic: Careful Spell: Allies automatically succeed Saving Throws against spells that required them.
Metamagic: Distant Spell: Increases the range of the spell by 50%.
Metamagic: Extended Spell: Double the duration of Conditions, summons, and surfaces caused by spells.
Metamagic: Twinned Spell: Spells that only target 1 creature can target an additional creature.

Level 2 Spell Slots Unlocked: 2 (You gain two Level 2 Spell Slots.)

- Metamagic (Choose 1 additional Metamagic):
New Metamagic:
Metamagic: Heightened Spell: Targets of spells that require Saving Throws have
Disadvantage on their first Saving Throw.
Metamagic: Quickened Spell: Spells that take an
Action take a
Bonus action instead.
Metamagic: Subtle Spell: You can cast spells while
Silenced.
