Creating pages on BG3Wiki is easy, but depending on the type of pages you are creating, there may be additional steps required.
For style and design guidelines when creating articles, see the Style Guide.
How to create a new page
A new page can be created simply by opening a link to a page that have yet to be created, such as by clicking a red link, or by searching for the page on the wiki. If it doesn't yet exist, it can be created.
Redirects
If a page exists but users may search for it using multiple terms, a redirect page can be created using #REDIRECT [[article link]].
Hatnotes
Template:Hatnote is used to add a hatnote to the top of a page or section to redirect users to another page with a similar albeit not identical title or subject matter.
Disambiguation pages
When multiple articles share the same name disambiguation pages can be created using Template:Disambig.
Types of pages
Several types of pages use templates as part of the creation process.
Character pages
Character pages often use the template Template:CharacterInfo.
