Text
My friend,
I hope this finds you, wherever you are. I just wanted to thank you, and... ask a favour. I'm to be made a Watcher!! The High Harper put me forward to the Harper Council, for 'service to the city'.
I'm not sure what that means, but I know that if it wasn't for you I'd be back mucking out my mother's yard. I am permitted to bring one guest to the ceremony, who will name me Watcher before the Council.
You spoke for me once before. I understand you're probably busy - but I would be honoured if you'd do it again.
I await your reply - whenever you can! (But hopefully soon?)
