* I also have sussur blooms in my camp storage. They have not withered from there and still give the aura from within the chest.

To the two comments above - they wither the moment you take them out of your storage chest - so there is no reason to leave them in there, although I can think of a few battles in Baldur's Gate where they would certainly help.
Also, I just tested this: "Sending these to camp will wilt the flowers, even when camping within the Underdark. Some players have reported success avoiding this by transporting them within containers." and it is more than just traveling out of the Underdark.
- Your entire party must travel out of the Underdark; OR the character that travels out of the Underdark must visit camp while they are no longer in the Underdark.  When I left my 3 companions in the Underdark with the Sussur blooms in storage in camp and took myself to Emerald Grove, when I came back to the Underdark I was then able to safely take the blooms back out of the camp chest.
