The illithid manifests himself out of the Prism, and greets Ansur, stating it's been too long since the two last met. Ansur greets the Emperor as Balduran, to which the Emperor responds he did not 'expect to hear this name again, least of all from the mouth of an old friend'. | |||
Here, Ansur implies that he and Balduran were more than friends (while staying evasive on the subject), until he was killed by Balduran himself. The dead dragon asks the Emperor if he's come to dance on his bones, to which the Emperor states that Ansur left him no choice. | |||
