Riposte is a Battle Master Fighter passive feature and reaction. This ability allows the Battle Master to counterattack and deal damage when an enemy misses them with a melee attack.
Description
When a hostile creature misses you with a melee attack, expend a superiority die to retaliate with a powerful strike that deals an additional 1d8 Physical damage.
