Deflect Missiles is a Reaction gained by Monk at Level 3. Deflect Missiles allows the Monk to reduce incoming damage from ranged weapon attacks and optionally return the projectile.

Description

Notes

  • You can only reduce damage from the attack - any additional effects can't be negated.
    • Additional effect here means everything that is no damage (e.g. a condition).
  • Potential bugs/Needs testing: Seems to behave weirdly against certain weapons
    • Deflect Missiles does not trigger at all against the Giantbreaker on from a Dwarf Warlock (previously Barbarian).
    • Against dual wielding Hand Crossbows the first attack will always hit, the second attack can be reduced by Deflect Missiles, but Deflect Missiles (Return) never triggers.
