Bloated Hyena is a hyena variant found along The Risen Road in Act One. They serve as incubators to newborn gnolls and will give birth in a grisly eruption if not dispatched quickly.

Notes

Allowing the hyena to be consumed by Yeenoghu's Hunger allows for maximum experience gained. Killing a bloated hyena grants 20 XP, but defeating the newborn gnoll grants an additional 40 XP.
