Simple Toxin is a common type of Potion that can briefly coat a weapon in poison to deal extra damage and can possibly inflict Poisoned.

Even when closed, a choking acrid smell emanates from this bottle.

Effect

• Coat your active weapon for Duration: 10 turns with a toxin that inflicts an additional
  1d4 (1~4) Poison
  damage when attacking.
• Constitution saving throw: DC 11
  • Suffers Disadvantage on Attack Rolls and Ability Checks.
  • Duration: 3 turns

Simple Toxin can alternatively be thrown. Action

• Throw the poison to create a small Poison Surface.
  • AoE: 1 m / 3 ft (Radius)
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Creatures that enter the Poison Surface must make a Constitution saving throw: DC 11 or receive the  Poisoned condition for 1 round.

Obtainable from various merchants, enemies, and locations throughout the game.

Can also be crafted via the Alchemy system (Suspension of Bullwug Trumpet and any Sublimate).
