Merri Fairweather can be found outside of The Blushing Mermaid, trying to muster the courage to ask Captain Grisly to sign her chapbook. Merri is in awe of Enver Gortash, whom she describes as "young, and smart, and gorgeous". Despite her mother's insistence that she shouldn't read the Baldur's Mouth Gazette, Merri believes they are the only newspaper in Baldur's Gate that tells the truth.
