== Involvement ==
The party encounters Baretha and her fellow soldiers near the entrance to the [[Mountain Pass]]. A cutscene triggers as they approach, showing the Gith in conflict with a squad of [[Flaming Fist]] who are ultimately defeated in a bath of [[dragon]] flames.

Baretha and her squad will become hostile if provoked, or if the party fails to talk their way out of [[Kithrak Voss|Kith'rak Voss's]] interrogation.
