Spoiler warning: The following content contains unhidden spoilers for Act 1.
Involvement[edit | edit source]
The party encounters Baretha and her fellow soldiers near the entrance to the Mountain Pass. A cutscene triggers as they approach, showing the Gith in conflict with a squad of Flaming Fist who are ultimately defeated in a bath of dragon flames.
Baretha and her squad will become hostile if provoked, or if the party fails to talk their way out of Kith'rak Voss's interrogation.
Attacks and abilities[edit | edit source]
With Extra Attack and Action Surge, Baretha is one of the most dangerous strikers encountered in the Wilderness. If her ally Gish For'reth successfully casts Hold Person, these strikes can become guaranteed critical hits, giving her the potential to dispatch multiple party members in a single turn.
