Combat Inspiration

Combat Inspiration is a Class Feature available to College of Valour Bards. This ability is an enhanced version of Bardic Inspiration that allows a Bard to inspire their allies and influence the outcome of their rolls.

Description

Inspire an ally with your valour. They can add a +1d6 bonus to their next Attack Roll, Ability Check, or Saving Throw.

They can also choose to add a +1d6 bonus to the damage dealt by their next weapon attack, or a +4 bonus to their  Armour Class for one attack.

Properties

Bonus action + Bardic Inspiration Charge

•  Range: 18 m / 60 ft
• Duration: Until Long rest
• Once Combat Inspiration has been granted, the target receives one of the following effects, whichever they use first:
  • Valiant Roll (Toggleable Passive Feature): +1d6 bonus to the next Ability Check
  • Valiant Defence (Reaction): +1d6 bonus to the next Saving Throw, or +4 bonus to  Armour Class for the next attack
  • Valiant Attack (Reaction): +1d6 bonus to the next Attack Roll
  • Valiant Damage (Reaction): +1d6 bonus damage to the next Weapon Attack

At Higher Levels

• At Bard Level 5, the Combat Inspiration bonus increases to +1d8
• At Bard Level 10, the Combat Inspiration bonus increases to +1d10 (presumed; not yet available)
