Ettercap

Ettercaps are non-playable race and type of Monstrosity creature in Baldur's Gate 3. They are infested with crawling spiders and can shoot webs at their prey.

Features
Opportunity Attack	Automatically attack an enemy moving out of your reach.
Infested	When hit with a melee attack, the Infested creature deals damage to the attacker. Upon death, Infests all nearby creatures.
Multiattack: Enwebbed	Can Multiattack an Enwebbed creature.
Web Sense	Knows the exact location of anything that touches its webs.
Web Walker	Is not slowed or Enwebbed by web surfaces.

About

Though they only have two arms and two legs, these foul predators have more in common with the spiders they herd than with humanoids.

Ettercaps are Infested, which can be removed by Fire and Acid damage, making them safe to attack with melee weapons.

An ally can use its Help action to try and tear away the webs.
