==Background== | |||
A long time ago, when Halsin was a young foolhardy druid he went to the [[Underdark]] to see the beauty of its local unwordly fauna, where he was taken by a Noble [[Drow]] House as something between guest, prisoner and consort. The house matron and patron took an interest in him, a novelty. He was chained to their bedroom for nearly three years.
Halsin did what was necessary to survive, though he does not look upon this experience negatively, as he tried to find a way to enjoy his stay there. While he feared for his life, he was waiting for a moment to win his freedom back. [[Lolth]]'s noble houses are constantly at each other's throats and eventually his captors' rivals attacked. While the drow were distracted in a chaotic battle of drow against drow, he escaped, never having learned the ultimate fate of his hosts.
