Omeluum is a friendly Illithid NPC and Trader in Baldur's Gate 3. Omeluum can be found at Ebonlake Grotto in the Underdark after being contacted by Blurg. It is a member of the Society of Brilliance and can attempt to remove the tadpole.
Act 1

The player can meet Omeluum after talking to the Hobgoblin trader Blurg at Ebonlake Grotto. Blurg is a fellow scholar of the Society of Brilliance, who will bring Omeluum to help the player.
The player has several opportunities to attack Omeluum during dialogue, and some Companions might actually suggest it. If the player listens to Omeluum they will learn that it is a rogue member of its society who was born with special powers that allow it to resist the control of the Elder Brain of its colony.
