Protection from Poison

Protection from Poison is a level 2 abjuration spell. This spell allows spellcasters to grant a creature they touch protection from Poisonous effects.

Description

Touch a creature to grant it protection against Poisonous influences. You neutralize all Poisons that affect it, grant it Advantage on Saving throws against being  Poisoned, and Resistance to Poison damage.

 Melee: 1.5 m / 5  ft

At higher levels

Casting this spell at a higher level grants no additional benefit.

• All previous Poisonous effects afflicting the target are neutralized
• Target gains Advantage on Saving throws against being Poisoned
• Target gains Resistance to Poison damage

How to learn

Classes:

• Class Level 3: Cleric , and Druid

• Class Level 5: Paladin , and Ranger

Notes

• If cast by a Cleric, Druid, or Paladin, this spell must remain Prepared; removing Protection from Poison from the caster's Prepared Spells list will remove the buff from all party members whom the caster applied it to.
