The most effective way to gain Mol's respect is to rescue Mirkon. He informs the party about the location of the tiefling hideout and the password needed to enter, allowing a simple path forward. Once inside, Mol greets the party and thanks them for all the good deeds they've done for the children. Choosing "Thought you might need help with something" causes Mol to request stealing the [[Idol of Silvanus]] as revenge for hurting Arabella and the other tiefling refugees. Agreeing to steal the idol starts the quest. If you don't choose the dialogue option to help Mol you'll be blocked out of the quest and its reward.
