A Mother's Desperation

A Mother's Desperation is an unique version of  Enrage used by the owlbear mother encountered in Act One. She will use this ability as a free action when reduced to less than  60% hit points, if her cub is killed, or her egg is destroyed.

Description

Increase Strength by 2 and gain the ability to perform  Multiattacks.

Gain resistance to all physical damage^Tactician.

• The owlbear is enraged! Strength and Constitution increased by 2, and gained 12 temporary hit points.
• The owlbear has resistance to all Physical damage^Tactician

How to learn

Used by creatures: Owlbear

Notes

• Owlbear's Rage can be removed via  Calm Emotions. However, this will also remove  Distressed from the Owlbear making her potentially more dangerous. Calm Emotions will also prevent the owlbear from using this action in the first place.
