Broken Machinery

Broken Machinery is an Alchemical Ingredient. Combine 3 of these to grind them into  Salts of Copper Shavings, which is used to make  Elixir of Lightning Resistance.

The cogs of this metal contraption are bent out of shape, the steel sheeting dented and cracked. Still, you can make out two sets of initials embossed into the copper: LDH and YTS.

Where to find

Found in the Arcane Tower in the Underdark

• Five sitting out on the top floor of the tower
• The rest are found in containers on the entry floor (including a container on the south balcony); the amount in the containers seems randomized and sometimes produces an "odd" number of ingredients, but apparently never more than three elixirs in total can be made
