Cloak of Cunning Brume is an uncommon Cloak which grants the user a smokescreen cloud effect when trying to Disengage.

One of the relics of Deep Duerra's rebellious children. The children found nothing of use in the vault and were discouraged. But in the morning the Vault Keykeeper's son, who admired the children, sought them out - and in his arms he brought a wealth of things, forged in shadow.

Notes
Notes included from Cunning Brume:
- The effect produces a miniature fog cloud, obscuring and blinding all creatures within. This makes it very useful for thievery and getting Advantage on enemies threatening the user.
- This effect triggers when using one of the disengage actions:
- It does not trigger when disengaging through Cautious Healer
- The cloud's area can be expanded each turn if disengaging in a spot which adds any amount of new area to the cloud's existing mass, and given some portion of the new cloud overlaps a section of the current cloud's mass. In this way, the whole of the mass's duration is reset with each addition, and may be expanded indefinitely.
- Within the cloud, a wearer illuminated by an effect will meet both the requirements for "obscured" and "illuminated" equipment.
- While the cloud will not block line of sight for enemy ranged attacks once in combat, it does block vision for enemies into and behind the cloud for characters in stealth, bypassing the stealth check.
- Qualifying disengage actions only produce the cloud while the character is already in combat.
