Elements of an Epoch is a passive feature that inflicts a condition based on the elemental damage done.

Description

Depending on what kind of damage this weapon does, it also inflicts: Acid Acid condition, Chilled Chilled condition, or Burning Burning condition.

  • Takes 1d4⁠Fire⁠Fire damage per turn.
  • Can be removed with the Help Help action, using a Healing Potion or becoming Wet Wet.
  • Immune from if Wet Wet.
  • Dip Dip action can be used on Burning characters or objects.

  • Multiple conditions from Elements of an Epoch can be applied each hit if the weapon does multiple types of elemental damage. For example, Acid⁠Acid damage can be added with the  Caustic Band or Fire⁠Fire damage can be added by Dipping Dipping the weapon in fire. However, the Burning Burning and Chilled Chilled conditions are mutually exclusive. Applying one removes the other so combining Fire⁠Fire and Cold⁠Cold damage on the flail is counterproductive.
  • Each condition has its own DC 13 Constitution Saving Throw DC 13 Constitution Saving Throw.
