Infernal Gem is a kind of environmental object in Baldur's Gate 3. It serves as a door lock for Raphael's Vault.
Involvement[edit | edit source]
Infernal Gem can be found inside the 
House of Hope, located directly south of the entrance to the Boudoir. It bars entrance to Raphael's Vault.
Passing a 
DC 10 Perception check is needed to spot the gem. It is named "Inert Infernal Gem" and can be interacted with, causing the character to roll a DC 10 Wisdom check. If successful the gem starts glowing and is renamed "Infernal Control Gem". Interacting with it once again causes a roll for a DC 20 Arcana check. If successful the gem dissappears and the door behind it opens, allowing access into Raphael's Vault.
