• The starving illithid is fully focused on eating its first brain in an age.
• Consuming the brain provides the equivalent of one Mind Flayer Parasite Specimen.

• Part of the newborn Mind Flayer in the Windmill Basement

Notes

• Consuming this is the same as consuming a  Mind Flayer Parasite Specimen. However:
  • Consuming it after having fed the newborn mind flayer doesn't grant the bonus, triggering the message: "It's no good - it won't be any use now. It's overripend thanks to your feeding."
  • It also has no effect if consumed by a character without any Illithid powers. In other words, if the character hasn't consumed any Mind Flayer Parasite Specimen before. This may be a bug or developer oversight.
