Orthon's Bed

The Orthon's Bed is special environmental object in the Gauntlet of Shar in Act Two. It has the notable distinction of being the only environmental object that  Speak with Dead can be cast on.

The Orthon's Bed is in the large room where  Yurgir and his  Hoarding Merregon lie in wait for an ambush. Whether defeated or pacified, the party can cast Speak with Dead on it to commune with it. Doing so reveals the bed is composed of the dead bodies of Dark Justiciars killed by Yurgir.
