Paired with Grym's vulnerability to bludgeoning damage while Superheated, the crushing damage should defeat him instantly, even on Tactician difficulty. Note that on Honour Mode the damage of dropping from height seems to be severely capped. An Owlbear jumping in the manner indicated above will do roughly 20-30% of Grym's health, and leave you in a potentially precarious position for the remainder of the fight.
